Donate umbilical cord cells for scientific progress

Umbilical Cord Donation for Research

At Cellab we are committed to biomedical research. Since 2014 we have been working with the aim of improving people’s health, providing value thanks to the production and development of therapies and treatments with stem cells.

In order to advance scientifically and make progress in the knowledge of diseases and their treatment, we need biological samples that many families altruistically decide to give us.

In recent years, thanks to these donations, many scientific and medical advances have been achieved that have helped many people. Cells and tissues are a scarce and indispensable commodity for the research and production of advanced therapy drugs.

At Cellab we know this and for this reason, we invite you to participate by donating biological material.

Legal framework

In accordance with the provisions of Law 3/2023, of 19 January, on biomedical research and innovation approved by the Consell General, Cellab offers you the possibility of altruistically donating biological material from blood and umbilical cord tissue to be used for biomedical research.

Cellab also complies with Law 29/2001 of October 28, 2001, on the protection of personal data, which guarantees the total confidentiality of the donor and of the biological sample data.
